Crap! I missed Slayer @ Hammerstein Ballroom!!

So browsing through the NY Times today, I just realized that I missed catching Slayer at the Hammerstein Ballroon on Thursday! Ahhh, curses!!!

Ok… ok, deep breaths… no problem, I’ll just have to wait a bit longer to see them again (weep, weep).

But, damn, now they are article material in the New York Times?!? Nice…

“Who would have thought, back in the 80s, that the clatter of Slayer’s rhythm section would someday become one of those archaic folk forms worth preserving just as an example of human mastery, like Kansas City swing or flamenco singing?”

I, along with thousands of other Slayer fans, feel vindicated. So proud, so proud.

To honor this occasion, I will queue Slayer on my playlist for the next month! Slayer!!
