Pam Real Thai Food

Pam Real Thai is one of many Hell’s Kitchen Thai restaurants and it’s given generally good ratings on City Search and Menu Pages. The place is small and maybe holds about 25-30 people.

Bottom line: It’s cheap and the food is good (not great), but hey, where can you order a Green Papaya Salad, Chicken Pad See Ew, Shrimp-Pineapple Fried Rice, Rama Chicken, and 2 beers for $40? Ok?

But, so far the best Thai that I’ve had in NYC is still Sea Thai Bistro.

I could go for “Rama the Great” at Sea right now. But as you’ve mentioned before: the food is so much better super hot and super fresh as opposed to 15 minutes later: but maybe that’s just the fact about cooking with rice noodles: if it’s not hot it gets kind of glutenous and gummy. There’s apparently supposed to be an impressive Thai place in Queens that maybe you and Mrs. Kangfoo could do a review of in the future? Apparently it has no ambiance and no booze – but tasty and relatively inexpensive food: Sripraphai
